‘Digital Dictatorship’ Can Make Us Tolerate Destruction of Civilization—Defeat It!

A social media ban has been clamped down on criticisms of the Nov. 3, 2020 “perfect” U.S. general election. The next target is emerging: stating the wrong conclusions about “climate” and energy technologies.

A Feb. 25 article in the Washington Post amplified an attempt by the German Marshall Fund in Washington to call out for censorship, any statements that the failure of frozen-up wind turbines in Texas triggered the calamitous loss of power and heat by 10 million people and 40 deaths in the state.

Biden Drops a ‘Green’ Hammer on American Industry

The Biden White House on Feb. 26 announced that it would multiply the “price of carbon” by more than seven times, to $51 per ton of CO₂, for all cost-benefit analyses of industrial technologies—and was likely to more than double that again after “further analysis.” The “carbon price” set by the federal government since the Bush 43 Administration in 2004 is not a purchase price but rather the price assumed for all use of carbon in materials—energetic, chemical, industrial, agricultural—whose use can form CO₂, and is supposed to govern the valuation of bids for government contracts of all kinds. Obviously it would also then affect the valuation of industrial and agricultural products and even the valuation of capital goods and/or entire companies for investment.

Big Lies Divert Attention from Ongoing Breakdown of the Physical Economy

Don't be surprised if Big Tech begins censoring reports about the failure of "renewable" energy systems, such as windmills, as a major factor in the Texas Deep Freeze last month.  The {Washington Post}, in an attack on those pointing to the failure of windmills to produce electricity as a causal factor behind the blackouts, said such claims are concerning because "they weren't completely fabricated."  In other words, to protect the Green New Deal (GND), such truthful analysis must be censored!

Creating a World without Geopolitics

The creation of a world without geopolitics requires that the leaders and people of the world develop a better understanding of the enormous potential for collaboration and economic advancement that exists at present. And a clear-eyed understanding of the forces devoted to reducing the world’s population, preventing growth, and fomenting conflict as a way of achieving the first two aims.

Sticking with Imperial Geopolitics Is the Road to World War

The Biden administration's strike on an alleged Iran-backed militia in Syria, in retaliation for a strike in Iraq, puts it on a course to escalate the endless and costly wars in the region launched by G.W. Bush and Obama.  This is not in the interest of the U.S., but is being pushed by operatives deployed by the British Foreign Office, to keep the U.S. in these wars.  These are the same networks that opposed Trump's desire for cooperation with Russia and China as the way to end these wars, before War Hawks like Pompeo and Esper brought the U.S. back under the geopolitical umbrella.  To reverse the dangerous direction such imperial geopolitics are intended to create, Lyndon LaRouche put forward his 4-Power Agreement, an alliance of the sovereign states of the U.S., Russia, China and India, which is powerful enough to to defeat the war drive of the Empire.

Biden’s Illegal Bombing in Syria—Is the U.S. Going Back to Regime Change Wars?

PDF

The U.S. bombing of a reportedly Iran-backed militia site in Syria Thursday night, claiming it was a defensive strike to protect U.S. forces in Iraq, has been denounced by a wide assortment of political and professional sources in many countries as a severe breach of international law and of the U.S. Constitution. Congress members from both parties have decried the deadly attack for breaching both the U.S. Constitution, which requires Congressional approval for acts of war except when the nation is under direct attack, and the UN Charter.

Biden Administration’s Explanation for Syria Air Strike Falls Apart

The Biden Administration’s explanation of a “legal” air strike in “self-defense” in Syria on Feb. 25 against Iranian-backed Iraqi groups alleged to be responsible for rocket attacks on U.S. bases and the Green Zone in Baghdad began to fall apart almost as soon as it was delivered. The explanation of the air strike has been rejected officially by Russia, Iran and Syria, by international legal experts and even by progressive members of President Biden’s own party in the U.S. Congress. It has also caused embarrassment for the government in Baghdad despite the administration’s assertion that targets were hit in Syria precisely to avoid problems for the Iraqi government.

Roundtable Discussion: Winter Storm Smashes Green New Deal Utopia – Great Power Cooperation Instead of War

Join us LIVE on Saturday at 2pm EST. The devastation and death across major portions of the US and Mexico from the polar vortex was not a “natural disaster,” but the man-made result of the systemic takedown of reliable fossil fuel and nuclear power plants, replaced by the primitive and unreliable use of sun and wind. This result was warned against in the EIR Special Report, “Great Leap Backwards – LaRouche Exposes the Green New Deal,” released just days before the polar vortex, demonstrating that this is the disaster awaiting the entire world if the Green New Deal is not replaced by international cooperation to deal with the global pandemic and economic breakdown with modern technologies, infrastructure and industrial development.

Instead, we are witnessing the open mobilization by the US and its NATO allies for military confrontation with Russia and China, bringing the world to the brink of nuclear annihilation.

Experts on China and Russia, as well as experts on the actual, galactic causes of climate change, will join this Schiller Institute Roundtable Forum, to discuss the urgent steps required to avoid the twin disasters of war and economic disintegration, and pose the changes in international relations required to turn the current crisis into a new paradigm of peace through development. We invite you and your friends and associates to join us.

Stop Trying to Settle Scores Through Geopolitics

The comments from Moscow this morning took the high ground of principle, in responding to the U.S. late-Feb. 25 bombing of Abu Kamal in eastern Syria, which the U.S. described as a ‘proportional’ retaliation for terrorist hits on U.S. forces in Iraq last week, accusing them as having come from Iran-sponsored militia. Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said that the United States should, “Stop trying to settle scores through geopolitics.” Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that U.S. mil-to-mil authorities gave Russia advance notice of a bare few minutes before the strike.
