El Salvador Drives Toward the Future: Midwest Call with Jose Vega

In the latter half of the 20th Century, the British Empire's policies of depopulation and enforced underdevelopment were imposed worldwide. In this week's Midwest Activist Call, The LaRouche Organization's Jose Vega discusses the notable case of El Salvador, one of the more harshly targeted nations during this period, and how it is now fighting back.

In 1981, Thomas Ferguson, then-Latin American case officer at the State Department’s Office of Population Affairs, had this to say: "El Salvador is an example of where our failure to lower population through effective programs has created the basis for a national security crisis. The government of El Salvador failed to use our programs effectively to lower their population. Now they get a civil war because of it." The civil war went until 1992, with the blessings of the United States and other followers of the British imperial system.

Today, a revolution is taking place in rejection of this intentional policy of genocide -- a very different picture than you're getting in the media. Let us learn a lesson from them now, and re-discover America's true identity as a beacon of hope for mankind.

The British led Western financial oligarchy and their Davos billionaires may no longer have a role in the affairs of sovereign nations. Their $2 thousand trillion in gambled-up claims must be frozen under a global Glass-Steagall Act, which would be subsumed within a New Bretton Woods credit architecture. Then, credit generating National + commercial banks could make long term, low interest loans available for physical economies and the construction of great infrastructure projects here & abroad !
