This week's Fireside Chat featured Mike Billington and Dennis Speed. On March 17, 2017, a transcript of Billington's webcast on "Why the British Hate Trump" was published in EIR. Looking back, it is clear that the British terror arose from the fear that Trump was threatening to promote a number of ideas which the British and their US assets believed had been buried for good when they prosecuted Lyndon LaRouche and his associates. Ending the colonial wars which were being waged on behalf of the Empire; being friends with Russia and with China; ending the green Malthusian policies; hinting even at the American System and Glass-Steagall; these sent the British into conniptions, and into an overdrive coup effort. By the time of the 2020 election, none of Trump's original goals had been achieved, and even the baby step of pulling out of the Paris Accord went nowhere when he capitulated and cancelled his planned science debate featuring Prof. Will Happer against the Greenies.

Deep State? Yes, but he appointed them to his cabinet. His failure was to not exonerate LaRouche, even knowing that the coup attempts were run by those who had persecuted and prosecuted LaRouche. His only pool of qualified cabinet members, those in the LaRouche movement, fought to get him to cooperate with Russia and China, but instead he allowed his cabinet to mobilize for war against them. The LaRouche Organization’s means to succeed where Trump failed are based on the refusal to compromise on the truth, the building of the international forces for a new world economic and political order, and the continued, living ideas of Lyndon LaRouche.

June 11 -- Buoyed by praise from Congressional Democrats and Republicans for his commitment to "stand up to Russia and China", Joe Biden's first words on arriving in the U.K. for a series of summits reflected that bipartisan consensus.

"I'm headed to the G7, then to the NATO ministerial and then to meet with Mr. Putin, to let him know what I want him to know," he boasted to a gathering of U.S. Air Force personnel at a British air base, sounding more like a mafia boss than a statesman. Offering the now-standard administration comment on the summit, that he is "not seeking conflict" with Russia, but a "stable predictable relationship", he fell back to his combative persona, saying "I've been clear, the United States will respond in a robust and meaningful way when the Russian government engages in harmful activities. We've already demonstrated that. I'm going to communicate that there are consequences for violating the sovereignty of democracies in the U.S. and Europe and elsewhere."

Vladimir Putin’s recently expressed convergence with the outlook of late 17th/early 18th century Massachusetts republican thinker, scientist and patriot Cotton Mather, on the nature of humanity and government, is of true strategic importance, as we approach the eve of the June 16 Russia- U.S. Summit. When Putin, during a June 8 speech to social workers, stated: “The very values of mercy, love for one’s neighbor, and support for those in need bind and consolidate the entire centuries-old history of our people. They constitute the spiritual basis of the traditional religions of Russia … the fundamental aim of life should be to do good,” Putin echoed the premise, exposition and very words of Cotton Mather’s 1710 Essays To Do Good.

Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts is leading the charge in Western and farm states against the Green Reset “30×30” anti-food, anti-population plan. In May, Ricketts launched a series of town hall meetings, some of which have turned out standing-room-only crowds. The latest one, in Clay County, June 3, saw more than 200 in attendance.

On Wednesday morning, Joe Biden and his wife will depart for his first travel abroad as President, an eight-day trip for three summits—the Group of Seven, June 11-13 in Cornwall, England; the NATO heads of state meeting, June 14 in Brussels; and the June 16 Summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Geneva. The principle of leaders of major nations meeting for collaboration is sorely needed in today’s world of crises—the continuing pandemic, famine, and confrontation to the point of the danger of all-out war.

Joe Biden is on his way to Europe today to participate in a series of summits, with his minder, Tony "Rules-Based Order" (RBO) Blinken, faithfully at his side.  What has been pre-scripted to occur --  if this week's Congressional testimony by Blinken is an accurate foretaste -- will be a disaster for humanity, as geopolitical provocations against Russia and China would most likely turn out badly for all.  But the G7 and NATO can't presume to speak for everyone, as many nations are looking to Russia and China as defenders of the principle of sovereignty, against the arbitrary unilateralism espoused by the imperial authors of the RBO.

President Joe Biden, who is going to Europe later this week for summits with G7 leaders, NATO heads of state and then Russian President Putin, wrote an op-ed published in the June 5 Washington Post and other media. Biden said the purpose of his major foreign trip was, in essence, to confront and back off Putin and, in absentia, Chinese President Xi Jinping.
